Two RegEd representatives have received nominations for the prestigious SILA President’s Award, while RegEd has been nominated for the SILA Organization of the Year Award
RegEd, the leading provider of compliance technology solutions for the insurance and securities industries, today announced nominations for two accolades from the Securities & Insurance Licensing Association (SILA): the President’s Award and Organization of the Year Award. These nominations reflect RegEd’s unwavering dedication to the SILA cause and to advancing the role of licensing and registration in the financial services industry. The SILA Awards program celebrates exceptional contributions by individuals and organizations, based on nominations from peers, and winners will be announced at the upcoming SILA National Education Conference.
Margie Webber, Director of Regulatory Compliance, and Kaitlyn Small, Manager of Regulatory Compliance, have been nominated for the highly coveted President’s Award. The award honors individuals who have consistently showcased their commitment to SILA through years of dedicated volunteer service. Both individuals have demonstrated their dedication to SILA’s core principles, including promoting communication, cultivating industry relationships, offering innovative solutions, and providing valuable educational opportunities. Margie Webber and Kaitlyn Small are both previous winners of SILA’s Robert C. Kennedy Appreciation Award.
“I’m truly honored and grateful for this nomination, and I’m especially excited to share it with my amazing colleague, Kaitlyn,” said Webber, a past recipient of SILA’s Robert C. Kennedy Appreciation Award. “We’re both looking forward to attending the National Conference, which is always a highlight of the conference circuit each year, and reconnecting with the friends and valued partners that make the SILA community so unique.”
In addition, RegEd has been nominated for the 2024 Organization of the Year Award. This recognition is reserved for organizations that show exemplary leadership and commitment in servicing the insurance and securities industries. RegEd’s long-time support of SILA, combined with its commitment to continuous industry improvement, have earned the organization this nomination. RegEd previously won the Organization of the Year Award in 2017.
To be considered for SILA awards, nominees must meet strict qualifications, including being an active SILA member, having at least two years of experience in insurance licensing or securities registration, and a strong history of volunteerism and service.
