RegEd Thought Leaders to Share Insights and Expertise at 2024 SILA National Education Conference

RegEd will host a featured conference session during the conference, titled “How Smart Automation Can Drive Efficiency and Reduce Costs for Licensing Operations.” This informative session will be presented by two of RegEd’s licensing technology experts, Jacob Spitzley, Director of Product Management, and Michael Pouliot, Executive Vice President of Sales. Scheduled to take place on Tuesday, October 22nd, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, attendees can anticipate a deep dive into the transformative power of automation in licensing operations and ways that advanced automation empowers leading insurance organizations to reduce costs and eliminate NIGOs. Jacob and Michael will discuss key challenges and opportunities facing the industry and cover a wide range of topics including Agency Onboarding, Producer and Adjuster Licensing, Hierarchy Management, M&A Support, and Producer Data Maintenance. They will also highlight the transformative impact of integrations within the broader insurance technology ecosystem.

Kaitlyn Small, SILA-A, RegEd’s Manager of Regulatory Compliance, will facilitate a panel of experts for the SILA Adjuster Licensing Subgroup (SALS) adjuster session titled “Adjuster Licensing: A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor.” Scheduled for Monday, October 21st, from 2:30-3:30pm, this session will review the unique challenges that occur in the adjuster licensing process and create a discussion on improving licensing efficiencies to help industry and regulators navigate the choppy waters together. Small will also moderate the Adjuster Open Forum on Tuesday, October 22nd, from 2:30pm-3:30pm. This annual open forum brings together attendees and the SILA Adjuster Licensing Subgroup (SALS) to collaborate on current hot topics that impact Adjuster licensing, to learn about 2024 Task Force progress, and to help determine future SALS Task Forces.

Brandi Brown, RegEd’s Executive Vice President of Regulatory Affairs, will lead the Designation Recognition General Session on Tuesday, October 22nd, from 8:00-8:45am, where attendees will celebrate award recipients and recognize the SILA Foundation’s Footprint recipient, marking notable achievements within the industry. Brown will also co-moderate the session titled “Uniformity in Education Requirements: Smooth Sailing or Rough Waters Ahead?” on Tuesday, October 22nd, from 1:15-2:15pm. This session aims to explore the future of uniformity in continuing education, prelicensing, and product-specific education requirements, fostering an important dialogue among participants.

Margie Webber, SILA-F, RegEd’s Director of Regulatory Compliance, will moderate the Securities Open Forum on Tuesday, October 22nd, from 1:15-2:15pm. This session will help attendees “navigate the sea” of change by networking with your Registration/Compliance peers facing many of the same challenges. Attendees will be able to raise questions and share experiences around recent regulatory changes.

RegEd representatives will be on-site to meet with conference attendees to understand their onboarding, licensing, and registration challenges, and to discuss solutions that speed the compliant placement of business while improving the producer experience.
